Since the opening of a free trade zone with the European Union, a total of 23 Ukrainian food suppliers have received an approved exporter status.
This is stated in an annual Cabinet of Ministers’ report posted on the governmental portal.
“Since the beginning of the year, within the framework of trade with the EU, the status of approved exporter has been granted to 23 enterprises exporting honey, ketchup and sauces, sunflower oil, yeast, cookies, glassware etc. from Ukraine,” reads a report.
For reference, an approved exporter is a company or legal entity registered in Ukraine, apart from customs broker that makes regular shipments of products on the terms of agreements, and is empowered to independently draw up invoice declarations regardless of cost.
