Ukraine raised $3 billion in investments, despite the complicated military situation in Donbas in 2015.

The economy ministry reports on Twitter. "Despite the critical situation, Ukraine raised almost $ 3billion in investments in 2015 amid the aggression in eastern regions," the minister Aivaras Abromavicius said.

Recall that during a recent press conference, Ukraine President Petro Poroshenko made a forecast that the Ukrainian economy would see billions of dollars in investments.

According to the State Statistics Service, the figure of foreign direct investment in Ukraine on October 1, 2015 amounted to $43.949 billion or 3.95 percent lower than at the beginning of 2015. Reduction in total investments is caused by the revaluation of foreign capital due to the depreciation of the hryvnia.
