Lviv coalminers to receive back wages today - authorities

Funds to pay off wage arrears to the Lviv region coalminers have already appeared in the accounts of the Treasury and they will be paid to employees today on Thursday.
The press service of the Lviv regional state administration has reported.
"Funds were transferred to the accounts of the Treasury. On Thursday, January 21 they will be transferred to the banking cards of employees of the coal industry in the Lviv region," stated the first deputy governor of the Lviv regional state administration Rostyslav Zamlinsky.
Recall that the wage arrears to coalminers reached UAH 38.2 million in November and 95.8 million in December. The Lviv coalminers said that protests would resume if funds are not received until January 21.
