IMF mission to stay in Ukraine by end of week

KYIV, July 10 /Ukrinform/. An IMF mission in Ukraine, headed by Nikolay Gueorguiev, decided to continue its work in Kyiv by the end of the week, the Ministry of Finance said in a statement on Thursday.
"An IMF mission has extended its visit to Ukraine by the end of the week," the report says.
According to the Ministry of Finance, a constructive dialogue between the IMF delegation and members of the Ukrainian government continues.
On July 9 at the Cabinet meeting Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk noted that it is about getting the second tranche of the IMF, totaling $1.5 billion to stabilize the economic situation in Ukraine.
In late April, the IMF Board approved a two-year loan program to finance the Ukrainian economy at $17.01 billion. The first disbursement of $3.19 billion came in early May.
