Government to increase funding for medicine by UAH 25 billion until 2020 - Suprun

Government with the effective use of funds allocated for the health care system will increase financing of the medical field by UAH 25 billion until 2020.
Health Minister of Ukraine Ulyana Suprun said this at a briefing, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
"The Finance Ministry and the Cabinet of Ministers made a promise that by 2020 the level of financing will be additionally increased by UAH 25 billion. This is a significant increase in funding, because everyone understands that we will use the funds more efficient," Suprun said.
As reported, on June 14, the Government adopted a Budget Resolution for 2018-2020, which provides funding for all stages of the health care reform and allows planning the development of the medical industry for several years to come.
