PM Groysman: Government initiates creation of Innovation Development Council

The Prime Minister stated this at a meeting with business representatives on Wednesday, the government’s official website reports.

"It’s time we should pay more attention to innovation, support national science and create a model where we could turn it into a real Ukrainian product. We are talking about the creation of a Council for Innovation so that we can clearly define how to support science, create necessary conditions for introducing the best innovative ideas in our economy, and most importantly – so that we can unite what we have today and put it into practice," the prime minister said.

Groysman also stressed that Ukraine has significant scientific and intellectual potential that requires conditions for development. That’s why he stressed that it’s important to stop the outflow of personnel abroad and give Ukrainians the opportunity to implement their ideas in Ukraine - especially in the real sector of economy.
