The British Government has allocated 20 million pounds for peacebuilding projects and humanitarian needs of Donbas, and another 30 million pounds will be given to Ukraine this year to support the implementation of reforms.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Britain to Ukraine Judith Gough said this during a round table in Ukrinform on the topic "Non-military components of the conflict: what you need to know in order to win."

"Britain supports a number of projects to manage conflicts and build peace in Ukraine. I had the opportunity to see these projects when I visited the eastern regions last week. In general, the British Government sent more than £14 million to the region from the fund for overcoming conflicts, promoting stability and security, and £6 million for humanitarian needs," the British diplomat said.

In addition, this year Britain will allocate 30 million pounds from the effective response fund to support Ukrainian reforms, Gough added.

Judith Gough noted that Britain "is seriously committed to supporting Ukraine and its development" and assured in the continuation of support for Ukraine.
