Investments in agricultural sector grow by more than half – expert

January-March 2017, the total volume of capital investments in the agrarian sector of the economy grew up to UAH 10.9 billion.
Ukrinform learnt this from the National Research Center "Institute of Agrarian Economics".
"According to the State Statistics Service of Ukraine, the total volume of capital investments in the agrarian sector of the economy in January-March 2017 amounted to UAH 10.9 billion, which is UAH 4.0 billion or 57.9% more compared to the same period previous year," the statement reads.
As head of the Institute’s investment department Mykola Kisil noted, the share of agrarian sector in the volume of investments in the Ukrainian economy grew from 13.5% to 16.8%.
