The international foreign currency reserves of Ukraine have grown up to USD 17.6 billion.

Deputy Governor of the National Bank of Ukraine Oleh Churiy said this at the briefing, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"The international reserves are growing actively, mainly due to the purchase of foreign currency. Today they amount to USD 17.6 billion," Churiy said.

He also noted that the NBU had not yet received the so-called "funds of Yanukovych."

In March, the NBU worsened the forecast for the growth of reserves at the end of 2017 due to the trade blockade in eastern Ukraine at $20.8 billion.
