Ukraine introduces anti-dumping duty on Russian chocolate
The corresponding decision was published in the Uryadovy Courier governmental newspaper.
"The final anti-dumping measures are applied by introducing the final anti-dumping duty on the import of goods from the Russian Federation to Ukraine... in the amount of 31.33%," the decision says.
As the Commission established, the dumping imports of certain types of chocolate and other ready-made cocoa products from the Russian Federation to Ukraine in 2013-2015 were carried out at the prices that were lower than the prices of the national commodity producer and prevented a significant increase in prices for such goods. This caused significant damage to the national producer.
The Commission’s decision will come into force 30 days following its publication.
