Ukraine, Macedonia plan to expand free trade agreement provisions

Macedonia declares its readiness to start discussions on expanding the provisions of the free trade agreement with Ukraine.

This is reported by the press service of the Economic Development and Trade Ministry of Ukraine following the working meeting of Deputy Economic Development and Trade Minister, Trade Representative of Ukraine Natalia Mykolska with the delegation of Macedonia.

"As of now, there are two areas of trade relations, which require priority attention. These are the deepening of obligations under the existing Ukraine-Macedonia Free Trade Agreement and the establishment of sectoral business ties in the format of B2B meetings," Mykolska said.

The Foreign Investment Minister of Macedonia confirmed the readiness of his country to start discussions on expanding the agreement’s provisions and also noted the importance of free trade as an incentive for intensifying investment cooperation.
