Ecology Minister: Well-known international companies ready to invest in solar power park in Chernobyl

Ecology and Natural Resources Minister of Ukraine Ostap Semerak said this at the press conference, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

In particular, Semerak informed about the launch of construction of the solar power plants in the exclusion zone, stressing that the well-known international companies have showed great interest in investing in the creation of a renewable energy park.

The Minister also noted that the safe confinement was gradually being put into operation in the final position over the Shelter object of the destroyed 4th power unit of the Chernobyl NPP.
