Next year, the State Automobile Roads Agency of Ukraine (Ukravtodor) will join the construction of a Go Highway transnational corridor between the Baltic Sea and the Black Sea.

Acting Chairman of Ukravtodor Slawomir Nowak stated this during the ІІ Ukrainian Infrastructure Forum, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.

"Go Highway is a new strategic corridor within the trans-European system, between the Baltic Sea and the Black Sea, between Gdansk and Odesa," Nowak said.

According to him, such a project has significant potential for the development of the Ukrainian economy.

"We need to build a corridor between the Black Sea ports and Europe," he said.

Nowak told about the plans to start negotiations with the European Union in order to become a participant in this international project. Currently, Ukravtodor is waiting for the consent of the World Bank.
