Dmytro Vovk: Regional gas distributing companies to be nationalized

The National Commission for State Regulation of Energy and Public Utilities has developed a draft law on returning of all gas distributing networks to state ownership.
Chairman of the National Commission Dmytro Vovk stated this a commission’s meeting on Monday, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.
“The issue of ownership of [gas distributing] networks lies beyond the scope of the Commission. We developed a draft law, submitted it to the government so that all the networks be owned by the state, and the funds from their rent come to the state budget,” Vovk said.
