Commission for State Regulation of Energy cancels fee for natural gas distribution

The National Commission for State Regulation of Energy and Public Utilities has canceled its previous decision to introduce a fee for the use of gas distribution networks.
The decision was approved at a meeting of the National Commission on Monday, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.
“There should be no additional payments for consumers. But there is the system where about 75 thousand Ukrainians work - these are regional gas companies and Ukrtransgaz. It doesn’t concern additional fees, but it concerns maintenance, so that this system can be safe and reliable,” Chairman of the National Commission Dmytro Vovk commented on the approved decision.
