Ukraine’s State Fiscal Service intends to set minimum price for pack of cigarettes at UAH 19-21

The Ukrainian State Fiscal Service considers that the retail price for a pack of filtered cigarettes should be not lower than UAH 21.1, non-filtered cigarettes – not lower than UAH 18.84.
The press service of the Ukrainian State Fiscal Service reports this referring to the draft decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine ‘On Establishing Minimum Wholesale and Retail Prices for Tobacco Products, Tobacco and Commercial Tobacco Substitutes’.
According to the decree, the wholesale price for a pack of non-filtered cigarettes should be UAH 18.25, filtered cigarettes – UAH 20.44.
In addition, the document envisaged the introduction of relevant prices for cigars, cheroots and cigarillos containing tobacco.
