Sberbank intends to exit Ukrainian market as soon as possible

Russia’s Sberbank considers the ways to exit the Ukrainian market as soon as possible, Russian News Agency TASS reports referring to Sberbank CEO Herman Gref.
According to Gref, they are now looking for the ways to withdraw from the Ukrainian market.
“We hope we will be offered such an opportunity. Now we are considering such options very actively,” Gref said.
According to him, the current conditions in Ukraine are quite difficult for the banking institution.
Gref also noted that Sberbank counted on the support of Ukraine’s government agencies in terms of restoring the bank’s normal operation.
