Ukrinform
DTEK has announced the loss of control over its enterprises located within the temporarily uncontrolled areas of Ukraine.

An Ukrinform correspondent reports this, referring to the company's press service.

“Directors of DTEK's enterprises, such as Komsomolets Donbasu Mine PJSC, Mospyne Coal Refining Company LLC, PEM-Energovuhillia PJSC, Skhidenergo LLC (Zuivska Thermal Power Plant), Donetskoblenergo PJSC, Tekhrempostavka LLC, Sverdlovanthracite LLC, Rovenkyanthracite LLC, Electronaladka LLC, Vysokovoltni Merezhi LLC and DTEK Service LLC, which are situated within the temporarily uncontrolled territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions, have received a notice of necessary re-registration in the so-called Donetsk People's Republic and Luhansk People's Republic and the beginning of asset inventory taking,” the press service said in the report.

According to DTEK, the company no longer controls the said enterprises. DTEK considers the demands of re-registration unacceptable and claims that no pressure can make the company change the jurisdiction of its assets.

The press service also reminded that DTEK enterprises situated in Donetsk and Luhansk regions had been working within the Ukrainian legislation over three years of the military conflict and paid more than UAH 2 billion worth of taxes to the Ukrainian budget over the past year.
