Ukrtransgaz President Ihor Prokopiv removed from post

NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine has removed Ihor Prokopiv from the post of Ukrtransgaz president, Naftogaz press service reports.
“Naftogaz of Ukraine removed Ukrtransgaz President Ihor Prokopiv from the post. The procedure of removal is stipulated by regulations of Naftogaz, which the Cabinet of Ministers ruled about in December 2016,” reads a report.
In line with the regulations of Ukrtransgaz, First Vice President Myroslav Khymko will now manage the company.
At the same time, Naftogaz and Ukrtransgaz note that replacements in the company's management will not affect gas supplies to Ukrainian consumers, and the transit of gas will be carried out in full compliance with contractual obligations.
