Deposit Guarantee Fund sold insolvent banks’ assets for UAH 3.2 bln in 2016

In 2016, the Deposit Guarantee Fund sold total assets of insolvent banks, worth UAH 3.2 billion
Director of the consolidated assets sale and management department at the Deposit Guarantee Fund Yulia Bereshchenko said this at a press conference “Sale of Assets: Main Tasks and Challenges for 2017,” an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“Last year we sold assets of banks under in liquidation for a total amount of UAH 3.2 billion,” said Bereshchenko.
She also added that the in January 2017, Deposit Guarantee Fund sold insolvent banks’ assets totaling UAH 450 million.
