Minister Zubko: Local roads in Ukraine must be reconstructed

At present 120 thousand kilometers of local roads in Ukraine need to be reconstructed, Minister of Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Utility Services Hennadiy Zubko has said.
“At present 120 thousand kilometers of roads – the local infrastructure that we must renew ... UAH 400 thousand is the cost of a central road which runs through a town,” said Zubko during today’s Question Hour sitting held in Parliament, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.
He also added that most amount of funds allocated for the road construction sector should be spent on the reconstruction of local roads in Ukraine.
