Vice prime minister guarantees fulfillment of all social obligations to residents of occupied territories after full implementation of Minsk deals

Payment of pensions and social benefits to residents of the occupied territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions will resume after Minsk agreements are implemented in full.

Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Pavlo Rozenko said this on air of Radio Svoboda, Government’s portal reported.

"Pensions to inhabitants of the occupied territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions are assigned in full amount. Unfortunately, the Ukrainian state is unable to pay pensions in the aforesaid territories. The only way to restore payments in the occupied territories is their complete de-occupation and resuming effect of Ukrainian laws and activity of Ukraine’s executive authorities", he said.

According to the Vice-Prime Minister, after restoring of its territorial integrity Ukraine is committed to fulfill all obligations and carry out all necessary payments of pensions and social benefits.
