EU consumed almost a third of agricultural products exported from Ukraine in 2016

The EU countries have consumed nearly a third of agricultural and food products exported from Ukraine in 2016.
Deputy Economic Development and Trade Minister – Ukraine’s Trade Representative Natalia Mykolska wrote this on her Facebook page.
“Over the first eight months of the current year, five largest consumers of the Ukrainian agricultural and food products are from the EU countries – their share totals 28.3% of the industry exports ($2.6 billion),” she wrote.
In addition, according to Mykolska, the top five consumers also include: India - 9.4% ($ 854 million), Egypt - 8.8% ($ 799.1 million), China - 8.8% ($ 798.3 million) and Turkey - 4.2% ($ 379.4 million).
