Ukrainian companies owe over UAH 23 billion to Naftogaz

Debts of Ukrainian companies that owe to NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine totaled UAH 23.5 billion in 2016, the company’s press service reports.

At the same time, debts of companies for the consumed natural gas decreased by UAH 466 million, or 1.9%.

Debts of heating companies and power plants for gas used for thermal energy production totaled about 82% of the gross debts.

Debts of thermal power plants for gas used in energy production totaled about 10%, and debts of direct industrial consumers – about 8%.

The largest debtors are Dnipropetrovsk and Donetsk regions, while the total debts of PJSC Kyivenergo made up about UAH 1,564 million.
