Lithuanian investors are interested in Ukraine’s projects on wind and solar energy, as well as projects on heat and electricity generation from local fuels.

This has been announced by Head of Ukraine’s State Agency for Energy Efficiency and Energy Saving, Serhiy Savchuk, following a meeting with Plenipotentiary Representative of the Republic of Lithuania in Ukraine Gvidas Kerushauskas and representatives of a range of Lithuanian companies operating in the sphere of renewable energy.

The sides discussed the development of solar and wind energy. Representatives of the Lithuanian companies shared their achievements in these areas, noting the contribution of transparent market, clear legal environment and easy terms for receiving technical support.

Following the meeting, the sides agreed on the further cooperation. In particular, Ukraine’s State Agency for Energy Efficiency will send to the Lithuanian side a list of current “green” projects that are in need of investments.
