Agrarian Policy Ministry: Turkey invests over $260 mln in Ukrainian agricultural sector this year

Turkey has already invested more than $260 million in the Ukrainian agricultural sector this year.

Ukrainian Agrarian Policy and Food Deputy Minister Olha Trofimtseva has stated this during the Ukrainian-Turkish Agribusiness Forum dedicated to expanding international cooperation in the agricultural sector between the two countries, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"Turkey has already invested more than $260 million in the Ukrainian agricultural sector this year," Trofimtseva said.

She also noted that more than 120 Turkish companies attended the Ukrainian-Turkish Agribusiness Forum to expand the opportunities for agricultural cooperation with the Ukrainian side.

"I hope that this format will give us an opportunity to give impetus to the development of cooperation in the agricultural sector, both in the development of trade and implementation of joint investment projects," Trofimtseva said and added that the Turkish side is interested in the cooperation with Ukrainian companies on the third markets.
