Naftogaz saves UAH 1.5 bln with ProZorro system

Naftogaz of Ukraine NJSC has saved UAH 1.5 billion by using the ProZorro public e-procurement system since July 2015.
Naftogaz Procurement Director Roman Biliaha has stated that at a round table meeting in Kyiv, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“Naftogaz group has been one of the first to join the ProZorro pilot project. Currently, we have 13 companies and 43 customers registered in the system, of which 12 customers are UkrGasVydobuvannya. As of November 14, 2016, it was over 7.5 thousand procedures, almost UAH 42 billion worth of purchases and purchasing efficiency of UAH 1.5 billion,” Biliaha said.
According to him, 99.9% of purchases are made via the ProZorro system now, excluding complex technical equipment where pricing is not a decisive factor.
