Anti-drone nets installed at bus stops in Zaporizhzhia
The head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, Ivan Fedorov, stated this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.
"Work has started at the first bus stop complexes. We are installing additional anti-drone protective nets to protect residents during air raid alerts," he wrote.
Fedorov added that in recent weeks the enemy has intensified drone attacks and is using new strike tactics.
The regional administration held a meeting involving law enforcement agencies, representatives of critical infrastructure, and specialized regional and city services. Following the meeting, the regional governor issued a number of urgent directives aimed at strengthening security measures.
As reported, on June 16 Russian forces attacked Zaporizhzhia with drones, injuring three people.
