Reznikov, Geoană discuss modernization of defense procurement in Ukraine

As Reznikov posted on Facebook, at the Black Sea Security Conference of the International Crimea Platform in Bucharest, he "met with a great friend of Ukraine – NATO Deputy Secretary General Mircea Geoană who once did a brilliant job to ensure Romania's joining the Alliance."

According to the defense minister, he and Geoană discussed current projects, in particular the systematic participation of the NATO Support and Procurement Organisation in the modernization of defense procurement in Ukraine. "We are preparing a number of very specific initiatives for the Vilnius NATO Summit," Reznikov added.

As reported, the team of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine visited four countries in 10 days ahead of the Ramstein group meeting to conduct negotiations on weapons supply to Ukraine.
