Ihnat expects Ukraine to receive Patriot SAM systems after Easter

Ukraine is likely to receive the Patriot surface-to-air missile (SAM) systems after Orthodox Easter celebrated on April 16.
The relevant statement was made by Spokesperson for the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Yurii Ihnat during a studio discussion on NTA TV channel, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
Commenting on when the Patriot systems are likely to appear in Ukraine, Ihnat said: “I think it will be after Easter.”
At the same time, Ihnat did not specify the delivery terms of the Patriot systems.
“When we shoot down the first rashist plane, you will know for sure,” Ihnat added.
A reminder that, in late March 2023, sixty-five Ukrainian servicemen completed training on the Patriot SAM systems in the United States and returned to Europe.
