Duda, Błaszczak meet with Ukrainian tank crew members undergoing training in Poland
“Together with Mr. Prime Minister [Mariusz Błaszczak – Ed.], we are pleased to see how our instructors, in cooperation with colleagues from Canada and Norway, are delivering training and how fast the Ukrainian military, the very experienced tank crew members who came directly from the front and who used to be on the front several days ago, are mastering tanks,” Duda told reporters during a briefing,
According to Duda, Poland has already handed over 240 T-72 tanks to Ukraine and is planning to transfer more old tanks in the near future. Additionally, Poland provided the Piorun man-portable air defense systems and the Krab self-propelled howitzers to Ukraine, which are helping Ukrainians to effectively counter Russian attacks.
Duda also thanked the Polish military for providing effective training for Ukrainian servicemen, so that they can defend their native land, as well as the entire Europe, against Russia’s resurgent imperialism.
