Ukraine’s First Lady Olena Zelenska met with British Defence Secretary Ben Wallace and emphasized that his country's assistance enabled Ukraine not only to resist but also to repel the enemy in certain directions.

“Great Britain was the first European country to supply lethal weapons to Ukraine with the beginning of Russia’s full-scale military aggression and continues to support Ukraine,” Zelenska posted on Facebook.

Also, according to her, the United Kingdom is training the Ukrainian military: by the end of this year, 10,000 Ukraine’s service members will complete their training and significantly strengthen the Armed Forces.

"I had the opportunity to thank British Defence Secretary Ben Wallace for his personal involvement and active pro-Ukrainian position. British help enabled us not only to resist but also to repel the enemy in certain directions. I hope we will continue doing so. Until victory," the President's wife emphasized.

As reported, Olena Zelenska makes a visit to Great Britain.
