Enemy troops suffer losses in Sloviansk direction – General Staff

In the Sloviansk direction, Russian troops opened fire with tanks, cannon artillery and multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) near such settlements as Kurulka, Brazhkivka, Bohorodychne, Krasnopillia and Adamivka.

The relevant statement was made by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“Enemy units attempted to conduct pointless reconnaissance in fighting near Dolyna, suffered losses and retreated. In order to improve their tactical position, the enemy conducted assault operations near Bohorodychne but had no success,” the report states.

In the Volyn, Polissia and Siverskyi directions, the situation remained rather unchanged. In the Siverskyi direction, Russian troops used cannon artillery to open fire on civil infrastructure near Sumy Region’s Bilopillia, Hai, Katerynivka, Myropillia and Vodolaha. The enemy conducted air reconnaissance with UAVs.

In the Kharkiv direction, Russian invaders used tanks, armored fighting vehicles, cannon and rocket artillery to open fire near Peremoha, Svitlychne, Husarivka, Borshchova, Zalyman, Slatyne, Nove, Ivanivka, Ruska Lozova and Sosnivka. The enemy launched an air strike near Nove, and continues to actively conduct air reconnaissance with UAVs.

In the Kramatorsk direction, Russian troops used different artillery systems to open fire near Hryhorivka, Sivevrsk and Ivano-Darivka. Russian occupiers launched an air strike near Hryhorivka.

In the Bakhmut direction, Russian troops opened fire on military and civil infrastructure near Bakhmutske, Shumy, Yakolivka, Zaitseve and Kodema. The enemy launched air strikes near Yakovlivka and Kodema. Russian invaders continued to conduct air reconnaissance with UAVs in that direction. The enemy’s attempts to conduct offensive battles near Kodema and Zaitseve were repulsed by Ukrainian defenders.

In the Avdiivka direction, Russian occupiers opened fire near Avdiivka, Vodiane, Vesele, Marinka, Oleksandropol and Tonenke. The enemy conducted offensive battles near Pervomaiske to improve their tactical position but failed.

In the Novopavlivka direction, Russian troops opened fire on the positions of Ukrainian forces with tanks, cannon artillery and MLRS near Pavlivka, Volodymyryivka, Kostiantynivka and Novoukrainka. The enemy launched an air strike near Volodymyrivka.

In the Zaporizhzhia direction, Russian occupiers used tanks, cannon and rocket artillery to open fire near Dorozhnianka, Shevchenko, Poltavka, Bilohiria and Novopole. The enemy launched air strikes near Novopole and Novosilky.

In the Southern Bug direction, Russian troops are focusing efforts to prevent Ukrainian forces from advancing and replenish losses.

The enemy used artillery systems and tanks to open fire on infrastructure facilities near Oleksandrivka, Prybuzke, Novohryhorivka,  Pervomaiske, Kvitneve, Kobzartsi, Yakovlivka, Potiomkyne, Trudoliubivka, Dobrianka,  Tavriiske, Shevchenkove, Liubomyrivka, Bereznehuvate. The enemy launched air strikes near Novohryhorivka and Andriivka. Russian occupiers actively used UAVs to conduct air reconnaissance.

In the Black Sea and the Sea of Azov, Russia’s naval group continues to conduct reconnaissance and block civilian shipping in the north-western part of the Black Sea.
