Rescuers complete debris removal works at Kremenchuk mall

In Kremenchuk, Poltava region, rescuers have completed debris removal works at the Amstor shopping mall, which was destroyed by Russia’s missile attack.

The State Emergency Service of Ukraine said in a Facebook post, Ukrinform reports.

"On July 2, at 13:25 in Kremenchuk, debris removal works were completed at the Amstor shopping mall, which was destroyed by missile attack on June 27," the report says.  

According to the State Emergency Service, 19 civilians were killed in the Russian rocket attack on the shopping mall.  Another 66 people were injured, 26 of them were hospitalized. As many as 29 body fragments have been discovered since the beginning of rescue works.

Overall, more than 1,600 people and almost 140 pieces of equipment were involved in emergency rescue operations.

As reported, on June 27, 2022, two Russian missiles hit the Amstor shopping mall in Kremenchuk, with about 1,000 civilians inside.
