Ukraine records nine ceasefire violations by Russian-led forces

Russian occupation forces committed nine ceasefire violations in eastern Ukraine on November 24, using weapons proscribed by the Minsk agreements on two instances, the press service of the Joint Forces Operation has said on Facebook.

Near the Butivka mine, the enemy fired from anti-tank grenade launchers and large-caliber machine guns. Near Kamianka, the enemy violated the truce twice, using grenade launchers of various systems and large-caliber machine guns, the report said.

Near the village of New York, Russian mercenaries opened fire from IFVs, grenade launchers of various systems and large-caliber machine guns. Near Luhanske, enemy troops committed two ceasefire violations, using grenade launchers of various systems and small arms.

The invaders fired 82mm mortars at the border checkpoint of the first defensive line, which is part of the Marinka entry-exit crossing point.

Near Verkhniotoretske, the enemy used automatic grenade launchers, large-caliber machine guns and other small arms. Not far from Vodiane, near the Sea of Azov, Ukrainian positions came under fire from 82mm and 120mm mortars.

No casualties among Ukrainian troops were recorded. Ukrainian defenders returned fire without using weapons proscribed by the Minsk agreements and forced the enemy to cease the shelling.

Ukraine recorded no ceasefire violations by Russian occupation forces as of 07:00 on November 25.
