Ukrainian soldier wounded in eastern Ukraine

Russian-backed forces opened fire on the positions of the Joint Forces in eastern Ukraine three times on November 22, wounding one Ukrainian serviceman, the press service of the Joint Forces Operation has said on Facebook.

"Today, on November 22, Russian occupation forces committed three ceasefire violations. One Joint Forces serviceman was wounded as a result of enemy actions. The soldier was given medical aid and evacuated to a medical facility. His condition is satisfactory," the report reads.

Near Popasna, the enemy opened fire from grenade launchers of various systems and large-caliber machine guns. Near Prychepylivka, Russian-backed forces committed two ceasefire violations, using grenade launchers of various systems, large-caliber machine guns and other small arms.

On November 21, Russian occupation forces committed two ceasefire violations, using on one instance the weapons proscribed by the Minsk agreements. No casualties were recorded among Ukrainian troops.
