Since the beginning of 2021, 22 foreign delegations have visited the Joint Forces Operation area to get acquainted with the security situation in eastern Ukraine.

“Twenty-two foreign delegations have visited the Joint Forces Operation area since early 2021. It is worth noting that the number of military cooperation activities in the JFO area is constantly growing. This destroys the false thesis of Russian propagandists about “fatigue from Ukraine” in the world community,” the press center of the JFO Headquarters reports.

The purpose of such diplomatic events is to objectively inform Ukraine's Allies about the security situation in the JFO area, the specifics of actions of the Russian occupying forces, as well as compliance with a full and comprehensive ceasefire on the contact line.

The main form of these events is visits to the JFO area by representatives of foreign defense departments and government delegations, in particular, the leadership of foreign ministries and ambassadors of NATO members and partner countries.

Military cooperation is also a platform for demonstrating the support that Ukraine receives from NATO members and partner countries to effectively counter the aggression of the Russian occupying forces.

The headquarters noted that one of the important practical results of military cooperation in the JFO area was to promote the development of the operational capabilities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine by studying the needs of units on the contact line for weapons and equipment, followed by adjusting the quantitative and qualitative indicators of international technical assistance.

As Ukrinform reported, on May 25, a delegation of the German Bundestag, led by Alliance 90/The Greens Co-chair Robert Habeck, visited the Joint Forces Operation area.
