USS Laboon (DDG58), an Arleigh Burke-class destroyer in the United States Navy, is heading for the Black Sea, according to the Twitter account of U.S. Naval Forces Europe-Africa/U.S. Sixth Fleet.

"USS Laboon (DDG58) began its northbound transit into the Black Sea to conduct maritime security operations in the region," the tweet reads.

The U.S. Navy routinely operates with its NATO Allies and partners in the Black Sea, the tweet said.
