Two trucks from the International Committee of the Red Cross carrying humanitarian aid have passed through the Shchastia entry-exit checkpoint and entered the temporarily occupied territory, the Ukrainian State Border Guard Service has reported.

The trucks are carrying medicines, medical supplies and COVID-19 tests. The total weight of the humanitarian cargo is about three tonnes.

This is the second humanitarian cargo that has been sent to the occupied part of the Luhansk region since the beginning of the year.

The first humanitarian cargo was delivered to the temporarily occupied territory a month ago.

On March 1, 11 trucks from the UN Refugee Agency drove to the occupied city of Luhansk.

The cargo included household goods, hygiene kits and construction materials with a total weight of 132.9 tonnes, the State Border Guard Service said.
