Ambassador Korniychuk, Israel’s EMTAN representatives discuss issues of cooperation

On March 31, Ambassador of Ukraine to Israel Yevhen Korniychuk visited the Israeli company EMTAN, a leading manufacturer of small arms, guns, and weapons, Ukrinform reports with reference to the Ukrainian embassy’s press service.
"During the visit to the enterprise, the issues of possible cooperation with Ukrainian enterprises of the defense and industrial complex in the direction of establishing relevant joint production in Ukraine were discussed," reads the report.
During the visit, the diplomat got acquainted with the full process of defense production.
As reported by Ukrinform, in September 2020, President Volodymyr Zelensky said in an interview with The Jerusalem Post that Ukraine needed to strengthen military, intelligence and defense cooperation with Israel.
