Specialists of the state-owned enterprise Iskra have manufactured and handed over to the Ukrainian Armed Forces a new three-coordinate radar system 35D6M, Ukraine's state defense conglomerate Ukroboronprom has reported.

"Specialists of the Iskra Research and Production Complex, which is part of Ukroboronprom, have manufactured and handed over to the Ukrainian Armed Forces a new three-coordinate radar system 35D6M, capable of operating in almost any climate and in mountainous terrain," the report reads.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces received modern equipment with improved tactical and technical characteristics: increased range, improved trajectory parameters, expanded functionality due to modern software solutions.

The Iskra Research and Production Complex equipped the radar system with additional remote workstations, which ensures full control of the system at a distance of up to 300 meters. If necessary, the radar system can be equipped with equipment for direct interaction with anti-aircraft missile systems.

As was reported earlier, Zhytomyr Armored Plant repaired 26 infantry fighting vehicles that will be handed over to the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
