Defense Minister Taran paying first visit to Japan

Ukrainian Defense Minister Andrii Taran is on a working visit to Japan, Ukraine’s Ambassador to Japan Serhiy Korsunsky has said.
“A visit of Minister of Defense of Ukraine Andrii Taran to Japan – the first in the history of bilateral relations – began today. The delegation also includes Deputy Minister Ihor Khalimon and Ukroboronprom Director General Yuri Husev,” Korsunsky wrote on his Facebook page.
According to him, a working meeting was held at the Ukrainian Embassy in Japan.
During the visit, it is planned to discuss a number of issues related to the deepening of bilateral cooperation in security, military and technical sectors.
