The Joint Forces Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has completed the planning of training activities for the 2021 academic year. In total, more than 50 military exercises will take place next year.

Commander of the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Lieutenant General Serhiy Nayev said this to Ukrinform.

“Regarding next year's exercises ... The Joint Forces Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has completed the planning of training for the 2021 academic year. Our plans include a set of training activities, the main of which will be a strategic command and staff training in early autumn next year, which will be attended by military units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as other military formations of law enforcement agencies. That is, everyone who serves in the defense and security sector will be involved,” Nayev said.

He noted that the total number of exercises of the Armed Forces of Ukraine differs slightly, but the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine will conduct more than 50 drills in 2021.

As reported by Ukrinform, on September 22-25, Ukraine hosted the Joint Efforts 2020 strategic command and staff exercises, which were attended by about 12,000 people and 700 units of weapons and military equipment.
