Over the past day, December 11, the armed formations of the Russian Federation violated the ceasefire in the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) area in Donbas three times.

“In particular, the Russian occupation forces used an automatic mounted grenade launcher to shell Ukrainian positions near Marinka (23km south-west of Donetsk); and small arms – outside Vodiane (94km south of Donetsk) and Zaitseve (62km north-east of Donetsk)," the press center of the JFO Headquarters reports.

Enemy provocations did not pose a threat to the lives and health of Ukrainian soldiers, so they did not return fire. No casualties among the Ukrainian defenders were reported.

The OSCE representatives were informed about the ceasefire violations by the armed formations of the Russian Federation through the Ukrainian side of the Joint Center on Control and Coordination of the ceasefire and stabilization of the contact line (JCCC).

Today, December 12, no ceasefire violations have been recorded in the areas of responsibility of Ukrainian units. The ceasefire has been observed in all sections of the contact line.

“Ukrainian servicemen continue to carry out the assigned tasks and are ready to react immediately to any actions of the enemy,” the JFO Headquarters emphasized.
