Between July 27 and November 29, the armed formations of the Russian Federation in Donbas carried out 309 attacks on the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as a result of which four Ukrainian servicemen were killed and another 15 were wounded.

Deputy Permanent Representative of Ukraine to International Organizations in Vienna Ihor Lossovsky said this at a meeting of the OSCE Forum for Security Co-operation in Vienna on Wednesday, December 9, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"Despite the visible progress reached in the implementation of the agreement on additional measures to consolidate the ceasefire regime agreed at the TCG meeting on July 22, 2020, the Russian Federation continues armed provocations, including by opening the targeted fire. In total, for the period from July 27 to November 29, 2020, the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were shelled 309 times near 43 residential areas of Donetsk and Luhansk regions," Lossovsky said.

In 11 cases, the Russian occupation forces fired from the Minsk-prohibited weapons, in particular from 82mm and 100mm mortars, near the residential areas of Vodiane, Katerynivka, Novhorodske, Kamianka and Krasnohorivka. The Russian troops also used forbidden UAVs on 36 occasions, including to drop grenade shells on the Ukrainian positions, and fortified their positions on 20 occasions.

"Since July 27, as a result of such armed provocations, four Ukrainian servicemen have been killed, and another 15 have been wounded in action," Lossovsky stated.
