Khomchak meets with Canadian partners to discuss reform of Ukraine’s Armed Forces

Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Colonel-General Ruslan Khomchak has met with Defense Attaché at the Canadian Embassy in Ukraine Colonel Robert Foster to discuss the issue of reforming the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

"The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the results of the work and prospects of Operation UNIFIER in Ukraine, exchange views on the reform of the NCO Corps in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and the need to standardize training programs," the report says.

Also, during the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for further military cooperation between Ukraine and Canada.

Khomchak expressed gratitude to the Canadian Armed Forces and the leadership of the Canadian Joint Task Force in Ukraine for their long-term support in countering Russian aggression.
