October 2, four ceasefire violations were recorded in the areas of responsibility of Ukrainian units in the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) area in Donbas.

“Last night, the Russian occupation forces opened fire twice from grenade launchers of different systems near the village of Avdiivka (17km north of Donetsk). In addition, the enemy used small arms twice near Vodiane (94km south of Donetsk),” the press center of the JFO Headquarters reports.

Today, October 3, the enemy provoked Ukrainian soldiers with unaimed shots outside Marinka (23km south-west of Donetsk). Two shots from a hand-held anti-tank grenade launcher and three shots from small arms were recorded in this area. Ukrainian troops did not return fire.

No casualties among Joint Forces units were reported as a result of enemy shots. The ceasefire is observed in other areas along the contact line. Ukrainian troops adhere to the agreements reached within the Trilateral Contact Group on 27 July 2020.
