A serviceman of a separate reconnaissance battalion from the Ukrainian Joint Forces has been killed in Donbas during a combat mission due to the careless handling of weapons, the press service of the Pivnich (North) task force has reported on Facebook.
"With sadness we report that a serviceman of a separate reconnaissance battalion from the Joint Forces was killed during a combat mission due to the careless handling of weapons, sustaining a fatal gunshot wound," the report said.
Representatives of the National Police of Ukraine and the Military Law Enforcement Service of the Ukrainian Armed Forces are investigating the circumstances and causes of death.
