OSCE SMM records about 2,200 explosions in Luhansk region in past 24 hours

The SMM said this in a report issued on June 23, based on information from the monitoring teams received as of 19:30 on June 22, 2020.

"In Donetsk region, the SMM recorded fewer ceasefire violations, including, however, more explosions (60), compared with the previous 24 hours (about 30)," the report says.

The majority of ceasefire violations were recorded in areas west of Yasynuvata (non-government-controlled, 16km north-east of Donetsk) and north and north-north-east of Shyrokyne (government-controlled, 100km south of Donetsk).

“In Luhansk region, the SMM recorded a sharp increase in the number of ceasefire violations, including in explosions (about 2,170), compared with the previous 24 hours (one explosion),” the report states.

Almost all of the ceasefire violations, including explosions, were recorded on June 22 between 04:00 and 04:25 at south-easterly directions of Popasna (government-controlled, 69km west of Luhansk).
