Mine clearance in Donbas: Almost 600 explosives disposed over past week

Military engineers of the Ukrainian State Emergency Service have cleared 43 hectares of land in Donbas over the past week, according to the Joint Forces Operation Headquarters press center.

“The pyrotechnic units of the State Emergency Service examined 43 hectares of land, detected and disposed 599 explosives in the past week,” reads the report.

It notes that the rescuers also accompanied emergency crews of utility companies during repair and maintenance works at electricity and water supply facilities.

The work on mine clearance in Donbas goes on, the JFO Headquarters press center stressed.
